Activities At East Briscoe
In The Cottages:

On The Estate:
- Children's playground and sandpit
- Lawn games (croquet, swingball, boules, etc)
- Marked walks, around the meadow, down to the river and to our own waterfall
- Fishing on our stretch of the River Balder
- Wildlife spotting/watching; a multitude of
common and rare bird species, deer, otters, hedgehogs, crayfish: have
all been seen recently at East Briscoe.
Within A Couple Of Miles:
- Hury, Blackton & Balderhead reservoirs for fishing and walking
- Teesdale Railway Walk
- Cotherstone village - shop/newsagent/post
office, two friendly pubs with excellent food, the River Tees.

- Eggleston Hall Gardens - superb garden centre/nursery attached to
Eggleston Hall which has a gift shop/café/bistro, and was featured
on ITV's "Ladette to Lady" show!
