Barn Cottage is a very popular cottage due to the large downstairs living area, with separate kitchen, dining room and living room.
Decor: Barn Cottage is carpeted throughout apart from vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. It is decorated in attractive country style with white walls. Pictures in all the rooms are original works and often for sale.
| Living Room: The living room is dominated by the large arch-shaped window looking out on the garden and to the fields and woodland beyond. With high beamed ceilings, exposed stonework and interesting wall niches, the room reflects the building's original use as a barn. The room, which is 3.5m x 4.5m, is lit by dimmable wall lighting and standard lamps. It contains a comfortable, fully upholstered three piece suite, occasional tables and an Indian rug on the floor. An electric stove supplements electric storage heating. An open stairway leads upstairs from the living room. |
Dining Room: This 3.1m x 4.7m high-ceilinged room contains a substantial table with six dining chairs for relaxed family dinners and is lit by dimmable wall lights. With additional tables, it has been known to seat 16 for dinner in Barn Cottage! A corner unit contains books and games. A window looks out over the field at the back of the cottage - sometimes the cows also look in.

| Bedroom 1: A 4.7 m x 3.2 m double bedroom with views to the front and rear of the cottage. The high, beamed ceilings, sophisticated bed-linen, wicker arm chair and pine wardrobe, bedside tables and dressing table give the room a modern country feel. There is room for an additional folding bed. The window has a blackout roller blind as well as curtains to keep out the morning sun until you are ready to wake up. |
Bedroom 2: This 2.6m x 2.3m, twin bedroom has blue toile de jouey bedlinen and curtains. The beds can be converted to bunk beds in which case the room can take an additional bed. There is a built in wardrobe and vanity unit. Blackout blinds keep the children (or adults!) asleep for longer. |

Bathroom: The modernised bathroom contains a WC, wash basin with lever taps and bath with lever taps and an over-bath shower. The flooring is a quality wood effect vinyl and the 2.3 x 2.6m room is lit with halogen downlighters.
Kitchen: The fully-equipped 2.9m x 3.5m kitchen has pine kitchen units, electric hob and oven/grill, a microwave and a dishwasher.
Heating: The kitchen has a timed electric heater and the bath room an electric fan heater. All rooms, except the kitchen, have electric storage heaters. There is a wood-effect electric fire in the living room.
Electrical equipment: Colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio/CD player, radio, vacuum cleaner, iron, electric blankets, hairdryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave.
Outside Parking : The cottage is near the car park and there is space immediately outside the cottage where a car may be drawn up for loading and unloading.
Patio : There is quite an extensive patio area which extends over the whole front of the cottage. It is stone flagged with table and chairs. There is space for the portable barbecue
