River Balder Wildlife Hide Project

We are currently building a hide for watching birds and other wildlife above the River Balder on the cottages' estate.  The Tees River Trust recently did some work to clear some trees to improve the light getting through to the river, which will make it better for birds, fish, plants and wildflowers.  It also improves the view from the top down to the river.

The building is still in progress, but we hope to finish soon.
