Low Barn Cottage is fully accessible to wheelchairs. The cottage has wood effect vinyl flooring apart from the double bedroom which is carpeted. It is decorated in attractive country style with cream walls. Pictures in all the rooms are original works.
An entrance lobby provides access to Bedroom 2, the bathroom and the dining room/kitchen
Kitchen/Dining Room : About 3.6m x 4.6m. Round dining table and four chairs. It has a four ring gas hob and electric fan oven with extractor fan, dishwasher and separate fridge and freezer.
Bedroom 1 : Fresh white bedlinen, with luxurious throw and cushions give this room a modern country look. The large 3.5m x 4.5m room has a king-size bed, bed-side tables, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe. This bedroom has room for an additional bed.
Bedroom 2 : The 3.6m x 2.7m twin bedroom has a wardrobe and bedside table.
Living Room: The 3.5m x 4.5m living room is entered by a ramp (1:12) from the dining room/kitchen. The matching sofas are upholstered in a fresh green check fabric and there is an additional easy chair with a high seat. This can be removed to provide space for a wheelchair. There is a gas fire (as well as the central heating). There are occasional tables, and a bookcase, with a varied selection of books. There is central lighting together with table and standard lamps.
Bathroom : The bathroom contains a dual-flush WC, wash basin with lever taps and bath with lever taps and an over-bath shower. The 1.9m x 3.8m. room is lit with halogen downlighters with an overbasin shaving light. A bath board and bath seat are available to assist people with mobility problems. There are grab-rails for people using the bath, shower, basin and WC.
Heating: All rooms central heating radiators. There is also a gas fire in the living room.
Electrical equipment: Large flat screen TV, DVD, dishwasher, radio/CD player, vacuum cleaner, iron, microwave cooker, refrigerator, freezer, hairdryer.
Outside Parking: The cottage is about 40m from the ample car park and there is space immediately outside the cottage for loading and unloading
Patio: There is a stone flagged patio area with a bench seat, two chairs and a small table. There is space for the portable barbecue.
